I had a kajillion things on my day-off to-do list. I really did.
Making dinosaur cookies wasn't one of them. But here we are.

No rolling pin? No problem. Use an empty wine bottle. Resourceful, eh? (And think of all the fun to be had emptying it).

If you're feeling cheeky, try a sprinkling of sugar (instead of flour) to keep the dough from sticking to the parchment paper. Jazz it up a bit.

Glossy Sugar Cookie Icing Recipe:

2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon milk (add more if needed for consistency)
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Food coloring

In a small bowl, stir together confectioners' sugar and milk until smooth. Beat in corn syrup and vanilla extract until icing is smooth and glossy. If icing is too thick, add more corn syrup. Divide into separate bowls, and add food colorings to each to desired intensity. Dip cookies, or pipe & flood carefully.
